Description:
Thrown earthenware, conical-shaped support with curved rim and flat top, base of support is scratch decorated with three lines - two straight lines with a wavy line within. The whole piece of covered with manganese black lead glaze. Roughness to the body and glaze on the tops of the supports where it would have been placed beneath a heating or cook stove.
