Description:
River scene with birds an flying above water, while ducks wade below. A branch with leaves is foregrounded in upper lefthand side of composition. Reeds featured on the bottom righthand side of the composition. Birds, ducks, animals, river scene, nature, outdoors, water, branches, leaves. Signed and dated "Bracquemond, 1862" in plate (u.r.), unidentified collector's mark on verso.
