Description:
Circus scene. Upper half of composition features a parade of two clowns and three horses; monkey and parrot perched on ledge at left. Tree sketched in upper left corner. Bottom half: two performers, before a crowd of men and women, with a dog perched on a rug. A third figure is sketched in lower lefthand corner. Circus, performers, clowns, performance, animals, dogs, birds, monkeys, horses, spectacle, outdoor scene. Unsigned, undated. Collectors stamp of Auguste Poulet-Malassis (L.1906) on verso.
