Description:
A group of late 18th or early 19th century kiln furniture (mostly cockspurs and a few stilts), refractory clay, collected from road works in Longton, Staffordshire, England, when the A50 was being built in the 1980s. The group includes: 8 cockspurs and four stilts. Some pieces are glazed. Plastic bag reads "From Stoke on Trent Surface Finds 1790-1850"
