Description:
Circular redware lid with knob handle in center top; the sides of the lid are slightly beveled; base of lid is flat and unglazed except for drips; surface of lid is yellow with a slight hint of green in the glaze with brown specks scattered over the surface; Condition: there are two large chips on the rim of the lid, Origin: probably Pennsylvania, c. 1800-1850.
