Description:
Thrown circular dish with rounded rim, steep curving sides and flat bottom, the outside of the dish is not glazed; interior of dish is decorated with bands of slip, the rim is decorated with three bands of yellow/white slip, the inner one is a wavy band of dark brown slip, next are three concentric bands of green glaze; next is a band of brown slip in a swag pattern; in the center are three concentric rings of yellow/white slip. Origin: probably Pennsylvania, c. 1820-1840,
