Description:
Thrown redware bowl with steep sides, rounded rim, and flat bottom, the base of the bowl is incised with two to three lines, the bowl's interior is covered with green and brown splotches on a yellowish ground, the exterior of the bowl has a taupe-gray ground color with splashes of manganese, the bottom of the pot is unglazed. Origin: Pennsylvania, c. 1860.
