Description:
Map of North and Central America, with parts of Columbia and Venezuala. California has largely been attached to the mainland. Engraved by Georg Friedrich Lotter, son of Tobias. Includes 5 scale bars and a lengthy "Annotatio." Based on Guillaume Delisle's landmark map, l'Amerique Septentrionale, first published in Paris in 1700, but reissued several times.
