Description:
Hair band or hair wreath made of faux orange blossoms, which was worn by Dorothy Cleveland Phelps (1895-1994) of Greenfield, Massachusetts, upon her marriage to Clarence Dewitt Rugg (1892-1989) of Greenfield, on April 2, 1918. The band and veil were probably purchased in the Greenfield or Springfield, Massachusetts, areas. The original silk netting has disintegrated, leaving only traces behind.
