Description:
Small, shallow tea cup, thrown earthenware form, coated all over with bluish tin-lead glaze, decorated with cobalt blue in a very blurry, runny landscape pattern of tall leafy trees and a house, there is a small amount of decoration at the bottom of the well. Delft teaware expert Margaret Macfarlane and delftware dealer Garry Atkins believe this tea cup to be Dutch in origin, not English.
