Description:
White porcelain, souvenir dish with printed and enameled scene of “Old Deerfield Street” on the front and on the back is printed in black “Made in Germany for J. H. Briggs, Deerfield, Mass.” James H. Briggs operated the Pocumtuck House or Hotel, later called the Deerfield Inn, between 1908 and 1914. A teacup with an identical inscription is in the collection; it has an image of the Old Indian House HD 96.024.
