Description: In the foreground, the half-naked body of a dead man is dragged by a rope tied around his feet whilst a man stabs him in the buttox and a woman raises a stick abover her head as if to beat him with it. In the background, a group of people, less distinctly depicted, gather around and watch; one wears the hat of a clergyman. On the right, a woman is seen clasping her hands as if in prayer.
