Description:
Large, heavy brown-glazed stoneware pitcher (unmarked) with a coil handle, which is covered overall with a Albany slip glaze typical of early Whately stoneware. This piece may have been made for display and not for use, as the handle does not appear strong enough to support the pitcher's weight.
