Description:
Pieced, cotton quilt in a pattern of eight-pointed star with a square center made of plain-weave, printed cotton with two shades of brown in a small repeating pattern on a bleached white ground, edged on four sides with the brown-printed cotton, and with two cutout corners made to fit around bed posts; plain-weave, white cotton backing; and cotton batting. The quilting was done in white cotton or linen in shell, diamond, and four-petal, floral patterns. The quilt is badly stained.
