Description:
Land grant, as a military bounty in Arkansas, to William Bell, signed by James Monroe. Dated 1821. Framed in dark wood. James Monroe (April 28, 1758-July 4, 1831) fought in the American Revolutionary War, was one of the Founding Fathers of the United States, and eventually became the fifth President of the United States (1817-1825).
