Description:
A saddled ox tied to a post with two kyōka poetry verses surrounding it. Series title in a rolled makimono scroll-shaped cartouche and the seal of the Shippōren poetry group above, a diamond in a circle with the character for "ren" (club) in the middle. A band of traditional lucky symbols or treasures (takaramono) in gold along the top. Signed Hokkei.
