Label Text:
The title of the print and the series are printed vertically descending from top-right, followed by the artist's signature, which reads "Utagawa Toyoharu ga" ('drawn by Utagawa Toyoharu'). Beneath the artist's name are the identifying marks of the publisher: the firm name Eijudō, the publisher's name, and the publisher's seal.

Perspective prints ('uki-e') utilize Western-style single-point perspective. Toyoharu, the founder of the Utagawa School, made many such prints.
