Label Text: The upper chūban is signed at lower-right "Yoshitoshi giga" ('humorously drawn by Yoshitoshi') and bears the artist's seal, which reads "Taiso" ('great resurrection'), a term used by the artist after recovering from a nervous breakdown he experienced in 1871–1872. The lower chūban is signed at lower-right and bears the artist's seal; both read "Yoshitoshi."
