Description: One of a pair of English creamware figurines that is the companion to the male vintner (HD 2006.33.103.1), this one of a female vintner modeled as a young woman dressed as a country maid and holding out her left arm; her left hand has been repaired and she is possibly missing something in her hand - a wine jug to match that of the male vintner? She is sitting on a wine barrel that has molded grape leaves with two bunches of grapes on one end of the barrel and one bunch of grapes on the other end; the barrel is set on a tree stump that sits on a circular base with a center molded shell flanked by rococo scrolls. The figurine has a glazed, hollow base.
