Description:
English creamware two-handled baluster-shaped loving cup with ribbed intertwined stap handles with flower and leaf terminals, and the rim and base of foot rouletted with a bead design border. Loving cups were probably created for a wedding feast although such vessels were also passed around for guests to take a ritual sip on other special occasions such as Christmas and anniversaries.
