Description:
English creamware oval pierced fruit basket with rope-twist handles on the two ends; the sides pierced with loops, scrolls, arches, and flowerheads, and wreaths; a fluted band around the base; and impressed on the base in uppercase letters, "WEDGWOOD" over a "P." The base has a mold mark of a tri-sectioned circle. This basket would have had a stand with it originally.
