The book contains 50 pages, 4 folded plates : illustrations, folded frontispiece. This is the 6th edition. Selling for an additional 3 shillings, Jones’ first edition of the instruction manual was printed in 1782, when he was 20 years old. The booklet contains an account of the solar system and operation of the orrery to view various astronomical phenomena. The Wellcome Collection in London has a copy of this manual and has made it available online.
