SKINNER CATALOGUE: A little wooden black enameled covered match box, the bottom extended at the covered match box, the bottom extended at the front to form a roughened shelf for scratching the matches. Cover decorated with a hand painted bunch of flowers in green, blue, yellow, and white, and a butterfly in orange. Full length hinge. Last third 19th century. 2 7/8" x 2 1/8" x 1 1/4". Cat. 10/3/1936.
