Description:
Carved and painted wooden figure representing father time, holding sickle (missing blade) and hourglass. Figure is standing on a square piece of wood. The figure originally had hair and beard. Leather skirt wrapped around waist is only remaining clothing but object may have originally had robes. Shoes and socks painted on feet in red and black. At the back are a set of iron brackets where wings were orginally attached. Near the brackets are additional iron hardware that may have been used to hang the object. It is possible that the object was used as an advertisement for a store or other business.
