Description:
One of two fabric portraits of the Hapsburg family (Holy Roman Empire royalty), probably of Maria Theresa who ruled 1740-1780 and her husband, consort Francis I, who ruled jointly from 1745-1765, in the original black frames. This form is known as a dressed picture, made of needlework and fabric on paper.
