Description:
A young girl wearing a feathered hat faces the viewer from within an interior setting with a chair at right and a flower arrangement at left. A ring of yellow circles her head and another extends from the left edge. Color reproductions of chocolate candy inscribed “MAR” and a chicken-shaped dish holding a piece of steel wool are affixed at lower left. Rough edges of brown paper border the image at left and right. Frame: Black-stained wooden frame with worm holes and a painted blue linen liner with wood fillet. Back: blue masking tape covers the edges. Drawn blue and orange pencil lines create a grid-like pattern. A blue rectangle of paper is affixed at upper center, showing the constellations Canis Major (Sirius) and Canis Minor (Procyon) depicted as dogs, and the Belt of Orion.
