Description:
Artist's book encased in a red canvas slipcover. Features a catalogue of works and both color and black and white images on pages numbering from 224 to 409. Enclosed is a unique original drawing, "Self Portrait as a Sprinter", (see MH1980.35.3b). This is volume 40 of the artist's collected works (Gesammelte Werke Band 40), representing works from 1971 to 1979. A companion volume (MH 1980.35.1) "Books and Graphics, (part 1)", is number 20, for which this volume provides a supplement.
