Description:
One of a collection of 7 objects.

A finely dressed woman stands on the left with a riding crop in her proper right hand. At her feet is a cherubesque child wearing just draperie around the shoulders and a feathered hat. In his proper left hand he holds a staff. He looks at a book at his feet only partly seen. They are in a garden with a romanesque structure in the background and a sundial on an ornate pedastal.
