Description:
A large doucai dish with front designs divided into three parts: the central tuandie pattern ("circled butterflies") surrounded by four Passiflora edulis in different colors; the middle band of eight jixiang ("auspicious") symbols of Buddhism, including conch, knot, fish, lotus, parasol, urn, wheel, and victory banner, all separated by stylized clouds; the outer band of green waves. The outside of dish is decorated with twelve Passiflora edulis.
