Description:
English pearlware saucer (with cup, 2004.16.5) stamped "DAWSON" on underside. The saucer is decorated in pink and copper luster, with a copper luster rim and a two-story building surrounded by foliage in the center well in pink and copper lusterware. This cup and saucer were made at the South Hylton & Ford Potteries run by John Dawson, (c. 1799-1864.)
