Description:
One of a set of two English pink lusterware jugs with an attached flaring pouring lip, incurving neck, globular body, and 7-shaped handle. The jugs are decorated in pink and copper luster with a band of leaves, tendrils, and grapes around the neck, and two scenes on the belly; the first depicts a gabled cottage and picket fence; the other has a ruin of a house with a larger structure in the backgound.
