Description:
Square shaped potholder. One side features a two-color, block-printed fabric whose small, all-over designs resemble a three-leaf clover. The other side features four smaller squares that are one of two different block-printed cottons. All four sides are edged with another type of printed cotton. Linen tape loop at one corner for hanging. Acquired from the estate of collectors Rachel and Reginald French, this may be a creative endeavor of Rachel, using older fabric she acquired.
