Description:
Polychrome, vertically striped rag rug with a sophisticated use of striping. The stripes are achieved by the wool warps; the wefts, which are hidden, are made of blue and grey strips of rag. One end of the rug is bound with a wool tape, the other is fringe that is secured by a row of hand stitching.
