Description: Rectangular, leather-covered wooden box with a hinged lid that has a brass carrying handle attached to the center top, which is surrounded by an oval band of round brass nails heads. The lid edge is outlined in brass nails heads that secure the leather to the box, leaving a small leather apron around the edge. There is a line of nails down the length of each end that extends from the back down to the front of the box and continues to outline the front edges. The iron lock with its brass cover on the center front of the box is also outlined in nails. The inside is paper-lined with a blue-green small floral print and has a label on the center lid: "SADDLES, HARNESSES,/ & TRUNKS:/ ALSO,/ All other articles in the Sadlery Line,/ TOGETHER WITH/ MILITARY EQUIPMENTS. Manufactured and Sold by:/ ISAAC M. TUCKER./ WORCESTER, MASS." The interior is divided into three compartments - one large compartment that takes up half of the box and two smaller compartments.
