Description:
Redware cylindrical jar with circular open mouth with a molded edge, curved rim, and slightly swelled sides tapering to a flat base. The surface of the jar has small areas of green and orange bloom (caused by the impurities in the clay). The jar is glazed on the inside and out, with no glaze on base and top rim; the glaze is extremely crackled. There is a modern yellow label on base, "BH82".
