Description:
Chinese export porcelain cream pot, part of a partial teaset consisting of five pieces, including a teapot, tea canister with lid, waste bowl, and teacup. The pear-shaped creamer has a narrow, pinched spout and an applied foot ring. The handle is missing, but the four foliate terminals are still there. The two opposite sides have a hilly landscape scene with a castle and trees, painted in sepia tones of burnt ochre and brown and encircled with gilt and brown. The spout and neck are encircled by a geometric dot border pattern enclosed by brown and gilt lines.
