Description:
English pearlware teapot and cover, part of an assembled 14 piece teaset, decorated with a yellow tulip, and floral and foliate sprays. The round, pointed top knop of the flat lid is covered with a stylized brown flower, which has four floral sprays in orange-red, brown, and green and a brown band around the rim. The globular-shaped body has two brown bands inside and outside the wavy-edged rim, which is slightly higher in front; over a short neck; over a large yellow tulip with brown accents and scrolling dark green leaves and two small floral sprays matching those on the lid on each side. The pot has an applied curved spout and coil handle, both with brown foliate sprays, and is supported on a molded, flat foot.
