Description:
Woman's one piece, sleeveless dress of slate blue silk taffeta, with attached crinoline lining the skirt, as well as at the neck decoration. Worn by Cathleen Clare Esleeck at a pre-wedding party at the Harvard Club, Boston. The dress was purchased by the donor from the shop of Ruth Fillebrown, who owned a dressmaking and alterations business in the Weldon Hotel on High Street in Greenfield, Massachusetts. This dress was purchased by Fillebrown for Esleeck in New York.
