Description:
Wooden rat trap with red paint and a paper label attached to the back of the upright: "STAR/ RAT TRAP./ Manufactured by/ LOVELL MFG. CO./ ERIE, PA., U.S.A.". The trap is composed of two pieces of wood doweled at right angles to one another. The base has a hole drilled into center; and the upright has a small hole at top and a slit in the bottom center. Iron wire is coiled around a spring mechanism and there is a large hoop is wire which fits around the circumferance of the base; the wire attached to the upright piece's small hole is the tigger mechanism.
