Description:
English Staffordshire earthenware figurine of a man or toper with a pointed cap leaning on a cask or barrel. Hollow figure on mound, painted in orange, brown, and green enamels (high temperature underglaze oxide colors or Pratt colors) Condition: Heavily restored body, repainting is discoloring on the interior of figure, needs conservation.
