Description:
Man's plain weave linen coat or duster extending to the wearer's mid calf. 2.0" wide collar with wide lapels. Four mother-of-pearl buttons, each 1 1/8" in diameter, coresponding to worked button holes. Patch pocket, box pleated with flap, at proper left breast area, plus two lower front pockets, which give access to undergarments. These three pockets secured with smaller mother-of-pearl buttons. Three vertical seams on garment body, one on each side plus a center back seam. Center back vent at bottom, 15 3/4" long. Set in sleeves with two vertical seams. Cuffs adjusted by the smaller M.O.P. buttons and a flap.
