Description: Handsewn dress made of tan and green floral print cotton. The bodice is not boned, but has piped seams around the armholes, wide neckline, down the center front, and around the waist which is pointed in front, and fastens down the back with hooks and eyes. The shoulders are dropped. The sleeves, which have been altered sometime after the original construction are puffed and gathered at the elbow to creat a ruffle. The pleated decoration on the front is caught into the shoulder seams and attached to the center front seam and covered with a piped seam. The skirt is gathered all around the waistband, with tight cartridge pleating at the back.
