Description:
Chinese export porcelain round, scalloped plate in the Famille rose palette of white, rose, green, and gilding. Bianco-sopra-bianco of cloud shapes from medallion-like lu'i and dots attached to foliate garlands with blossoms and outlined cartouches. Center decoration is a bouquet of roses and poppies and green leaves. Rim has four enamel cartouches over bianco-sopra-bianco medallions in slip underneath in rose and gilt with rose spearheads and hatchings containing roses, poppies, and thistles.
