Description:
English plain circular creamware basket with lid on a molded circular foot, both pieces decorated with pierced or openwork ornament, and side handles like twisted rope, marked "WEDGWOOD" and "3 BR" on the underside of the domed foot. Knob on lid in shape of a flower, similar to one illustrated in W. B. Honey's English Cream Coloured Earthenware, Plate 91A.
