Description:
Woven wool coverlet wool in blue and white, which has a tag read, "Mrs. W. S. Lewis 184." The coverlet has a close pattern of flowers in the center field, bordered by another flower and leaf pattern; and variant of the American eagle and shield taken from the Great Seal of the United States adopted by the Continental Congress in 1782 and the date "1836" in the repeat pattern. This coverlet is similar to coverlet, HD F.809.
