Description:
cream color; handwoven by an ancestor of her husband's on his mother's side (family name Dow, of Cornish, NH) and is well over 100 years old. Measures 84" by 90", pieced down the middle, is rather cream colored with blue lines forming three wide squares. Around three sides alternate squares have embroidered leaves and flowers in blue and there is a blue fringe along three sides of the blanket. Worn in several places.
