Description:
Pieced, cotton doll's quilt in red and white, plain weave cotton, which was proably cut down form a earlier, larger quilt. The red and white pieces are laid out in a checkered pattern; bound in a newer red cotton tape which obscures an older red cotton binding; a plain weave, white cotton backing; an cotton batting. The quilting is done in a trellis pattern; when the quilt was cut down, the four sides were machine stitched.
