Description:
Pieced, plain weave cotton quilt laid out in red and white squares forming diamond shapes with a larger cross-shape of white cotton in the center of each diamond, and a four-sided border made of red cotton strips and red squares turned on point; a coarser, a white, twill-weave cotton backing; and cotton batting. This diamond design is also referenced in the quilting pattern of concentric diamond shapes.
