Description:
English pearlware, miniature globular-shaped teapot (part of a 14-piece teaset) with undercut rim and domed lid with a pointed ball finial. Both pot and lid are decorated with red and green floral swags and blue and black bands; the handle and spout are decorated with black paired leaves. The teaset has a history of ownership in the Austin Eastman Family of Amherst, Mass.
