Description:
English Staffordshire pitcher (with bowl 92.033.2) decorated with cobalt blue painted designs and used for washing; pitcher has a wide mouth with an attached molded, scrolled handle, bulbous belly, incurving base, and flared circular foot, the piece is decorated with star-shaped blue leaves on a blue ground; a blue band decorates the edge of the base, and blue leaves and flowers ornament the neck of the pitcher.
